On May 10th 2007, Royal International Corporation has reached an agreement with Starwood – one of the world’s largest hotel and leisure companies to develop two(02) hotels in the World Heritage site of Halong Bay. The 160 rooms Four Points by Sheraton hotel is expected to open by the end of 2009 and 300 room Sheraton Halong Bay resort will open in 2012. Upon signing this contract, we will be the first four points by Sheraton in Halong Bay as well as in Vietnam. Starwood currently operates 847 properties in 100 countries, and in Vietnam are Sheraton Saigon and Hanoi hotels.
The two hotel projects further strengthen the position of Royal as one of the largest International up scale hotel establishment in Halong and it enhances the tourism industry of Halong Bay. The whole Baichay beach, under the approval of Quangninh people's committee, has been reconstructed. It includes: deluxe shopping centre; renovation of the amusement park with the new recreation facilities like the biggest opera house in Halong with 1,200 seats, The water puppet theatre, music, Restaurant system, SPA & Massage, Golf court, outdoor swimming pool, bars and actively discotheques...
